An Update...

...and a promise to be more diligent about my blogging! As I have been graduated and working in a designer showroom for the past year, I feel it is time to get the ball in motion on the next phase of my life. I'm going to start my own interior design business, while I continue to work elsewhere. YAAAAAY!!!! I've also decided to use this blog as cache for things that inspire me, as well as my newest creations... but those are for another post.

Now, for the update! Get excited! In my last post (from last year! HA!) I mentioned that one of my class projects had been selected to be executed for the office of a local non-profit group. With my fabulous teammates, Erica and Jennifer, the project was conceptualized, presented and then the real work began! We coordinated schedules for the contractor, buying furniture and oversaw the installation.  My wonderfully creative friend, Anne Rhodes was kind enough to photograph the job after it was finished, and without further adieu, here they are!

I have the "Before" photos on one of my flash drives, I just need to find the right one! Let me know what y'all think about this little office job. The best part about this project was how excited the employees were to have an environment that they were proud to have people see, and not just a drab space they happened to work in!

Until next time, my friends, when we will be looking for inspiring SMALL bathrooms!
